For obvious reasons these are called tsu-numbers. They can be used for virtually anything。The only problem is that they only go up to 10, You cannot go above 10 with these numbers.
いくら How many
さかなが ななつ いました。 There were seven fish
私は えいがを いつつ みました。 I saw five movies
いぬが いｋら いますか。 How many dogs are there?
ジョンくんは りんごを まいにち ふたつ たべます。 John eats two apples everyday.
きょうは 私が ほんを ひとつ よみました。 Today, I read one book.
